The New Zealand Wilding Conifer Management Strategy 2015–2030
The New Zealand Wilding Conifer Management Strategy is a plan for collaborative management of wildings, and the Government has allocated an additional $16 million over four years (2016–2019) to control wilding conifers in priority areas.

In high priority control areas, eligible landholders can receive up to 90% funding for controlling wildings on their property.
For 2017–18, these high priority areas are listed under ‘Management Unit’ in the National Wilding Conifer Control Programme Delivery model (operations) 2016/17.
